DRESDECO 'MADE FOR JAPAN' DESIGN COMP

Made For Japan.
As a brand owner Fashion Illustrator/Designer of new clothing line DresdecO, I was delighted to come across this footwear design challenge, purely because, as a Fashion Illustrator I tend to get the urge to develop designs away from brand DresdecO projects. As a Fashion Designer I like to predict or discover what the new fashion trends will be for the upcoming year. So when asked 'What would the youth be wearing on their feet in 2016?' for this 'Made in Japan' Footwear Design Challenge I came up with a footwear design that is inspired by Fashion, Sport and Culture.
My fashion inspiration came from your regular variety of different footwear materials from designer footwear brands, my sport inspiration came from the vast majority of aerodynamic footwear design shapes and my culture inspiration stemmed from your everyday fashion addict that is inspired by the sport and fashion lifestyle.
