Similar to any athletic person going for a morning run before their day of full-on training. I was in two minds about what this article should be about but, I thought I would go backwards to go forward with content that wasn’t published due to the decision of taking down the Blog. They say it always a good thing to question yourself by recapping and asking; Am I happy with where I am in my present life? Have I reached / attempted my goals? Not having a Blog for over a whole year had me look back on what I have been doing creatively since the absence of the Blog. To be totally honest, not much has changed, the only main change is the growth of the approach of the new brand products. The type of approach that was never present at this brand like manufactured products, models and photo-shoots. The moral of this article is that if you believe in what you do then a hiatus is just a break from regular life and not a break from who you really are and what you are working towards.

10/26/2024 0 Comments Rebirth Of The BLOGIt is so nice to get a sudden creative awakening. During meeting new contacts and discovering new platforms, one thing that I did notice is that every other brand / platform has their very own promotional tool. The type of tool that works for itself and is still a part of a brand / platform but acts as the main component of the engine that keeps the brand ticking. After this brief realization, simply asked myself; What is our main component of the brand engine? We always had this type of tool but suddenly stop using it because we felt that this tool was outshining the whole website due to lack of actual products at the time. (only being transparent) Not only would this tool bring more awareness to this brand (again) but, just like before we stop using it, this tool will also be the main newsletter for any upcoming brand artwork and products. If you haven’t guessed it already, this tool is a BLOG. Call it a bad play or just being short sighted but taking down the site blog at the time allowed more time to focus the actual productional side of this business. While in the moment of still promoting the first leisurewear tracksuit and researching the movements of other brands, noticed that we need to add much more clothing products to the brand wardrobe. Chose to use this new collection to expand the brand markets with different clothing categories. This style of fashion design process stems from our brand owner’s knowledge of fashion and how he was taught to research and make a storyboard of a step-by-step journey towards the final clothing product. It has been a long time since we created a storyboard for any of our clothing collection so this will be a great moment in time to design some on trend graphic storyboards that can help to promote our new creations. 9/3/2023 0 Comments Leisure Lifestyle TracksuitHappy to say that this is a monumental moment for this brand. It has been months of planning for selecting the right artwork for the labels and patches for the new ‘Leisure Lifestyle’ clothing collection and now that everything has arrived it still feels unreal. With the help of logo labels and embroidery patches this tracksuit design represents a new brand awareness. The type of awareness that may remind consumers where the inspiration came from. It is good to create and build something that started from a dream, but it is also important to show respect to those other brands that inspire that dream. Not only is it important to show respect but you can also try and achieve more than what they did and that is where the marketing and promotion plays a big part of the journey. Regarding the market; It is good to people watch and see their reaction when wearing the new tracksuit. The reaction is always good, as it could be a strong sign that consumers are tired of seeing the regular everyday plain logo tracksuits. Our design team was in the process of creating our own plain logo patch tracksuit collection, but due to vision response given to this leisurewear logo tracksuit the team has decided to stay on track with selecting new colourways for the next leisurewear tracksuit design. As mentioned on the last blog, the next creative step after documenting the logo patches and labels is to do an introduction style photoshoot which will highlight the meaning of living in your own leisure with the help of casual sportswear mixed with a utility clothing style. After our networking conversation I would take mental notes of where the best spots would be in their business for the posters while on store visit. After receiving the first sample from the selected clothing design, the owner decided to make a few changes due to a couple of missing keys features on both samples and an inspired mind-state. The first change was made by giving this suit a more of a casual look instead of a street silhouette. By opting for a collar instead of a hood, also to add a matching colour zip to contract the stripes. Once you receive a well-made product there will always be a creative way to market your brand. Other than researching what other brands have done in the past, you can also find inspiration for our every lives. Which can make any market campaign a never-ending process.
